Gracon Construction, Inc. is a full-service residential construction company with over 24 years of experience. Built on decades of work in the SF Bay Area,
Gracon now also serves homeowners in the Greater Phoenix / East Valley, AZ area. For more than two decades, Gracon has helped homeowners improve, expand, and transform their homes through quality construction, practical experience, and reliable project management.
Gracon Construction is your one-stop remodel and new construction company. From design and engineering to construction and final completion, we provide full-service support for homeowners, investors, and clients who want their projects handled by an experienced team.
Our Story
Gracon Construction began as a small heating and air conditioning company and grew into a full-service general contractor. Today, Gracon handles everything from small projects such as skylight installations, tankless water heaters, windows, doors, and flooring, to large-scale projects such as additions, major remodels, and new home construction.
At any given time, Gracon may have a new home under construction, several additions in progress, kitchen and bathroom remodels, window and door installations, retaining walls, concrete driveways, roofing work, heating systems, and other residential construction projects underway.
This broad experience gives Gracon the ability to serve both homeowners with a single specific project and investors or property owners managing larger, multi-scope improvements.

What We Do
Full-Service Design, Engineering, and Build
Gracon Construction is a true one-stop shop. We do everything from design to engineering to build, all in-house. This approach helps simplify the process for homeowners by giving them one experienced company to coordinate the major parts of the project.
Our goal is to help clients move from concept to completion with clear communication, reliable planning, and quality construction.
Experienced Leadership
The owner of Gracon Construction, Inc., Gil Granado, is a retired police officer and a current member of the Army National Guard. He started Gracon while serving as a full-time police officer and later retired from full-time police work after 25 years of service to run Gracon full-time.
Gil has also served in the California Army National Guard for 29 years and holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His military experience includes leadership roles such as Tank Company Commander, Logistician, Executive Officer, and Project Manager. He currently serves as the Public Affairs Officer for the California Army National Guard.
Gil has applied his experience in law enforcement and the military — including problem solving, logistics, discipline, planning, and leadership — to the way Gracon Construction operates.

Gracon Construction was selected to appear on HGTV’s “Curb Appeal: The Block.” Gracon filmed its first episode during the winter of 2011 and was later asked to film a second episode in the spring of 2012.
These projects showcased Gracon’s ability to improve curb appeal, exterior design, landscaping, entryways, stucco work, walls, planters, trim, lighting, and overall exterior home presentation.
